During these ‘unprecedented’ times, the skill of being resilient is absolutely critical.

If there is one behaviour we should benefit from to get through these ‘unprecedented’ times, it’s the skill of being resilient.

THE 7 HABITS OF HIGHLY RESILIENT PEOPLE

The COVID-19 situation has had a massive impact on our lives, both professional and personal. A forced period of working from home has put a new emphasis on the definition of work-life balance. We needed to find coping mechanisms to make it work, and so it became our ‘new norm’. Now we are being asked to prepare to get back to the office and leave our most recent ‘comfort zone’. These two periods of sudden change have caused confusion for some, and consternation for many. Our ability to cope and find a way through has been put to the test.

The answer is to build your resilience. For some, this comes naturally. They are able to deal with the crises, create new solutions, and find ways to ‘pivot’ their way of working. But, for most, it’s not been so easy. Their ability to change their mind-set doesn’t come so naturally.

Simon Rickman has put together a webinar to help you to improve your coping mechanism and increase your wellbeing.

It’s based on ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’, by Stephen Covey. A multi-million best seller, Covey’s timeless principles can be used to understand how resilient people come to terms with where they are, and to move forward with a positive, results-focused mind-set. Simon takes a brief look at some of the Habits to learn how they can be used to build resilience. He believes that these are some of the key skills required to reshape our working attitudes for 2021.
