B2E Consulting has been successfully supporting a large programme of M&A activity for a FTSE 100 Fintech company. We have an M&A Integration team of 4 people, comprising of 2 Senior M&A Project Managers, 1 senior M&A Change Manager and an M&A Project Co-ordinator. Together they have managed the post-merger integration of several Fintech and software companies.
Overall, B2E Consulting has 10 consultants currently working at this FTSE 100 client on projects and transformation programmes including: Sustainable Supply chain strategy and implementation; Payroll transformation; Global Ergonomics roll-out and also managing a post-acquisition rebranding.
The M&A integration activity at this client covers M&A Project Management consulting in a complex and high-profile environment. Specifically, initiating, setting direction, creating plans, defining, and managing resources to deliver against the required deliverables. Our team are also responsible for undertaking the M&A Change Management consulting services which include the delivery and adoption of business change and managing the culture change. All areas of the wider business that may be affected by the project have been considered and change planning conducted to optimise the post-merger change journey.
This Project Management team also support the development and roll out of PMO portfolio, blueprint, and Project Management Methodologies.
M&A Consulting Setup and Delivery – FTSE 100 Organisation (Financial Services)
B2E Consulting was asked to partner our client in the set-up and delivery of a new dedicated technology M&A delivery team. The initial scope of the engagement was the strategy and design of a new team, tools, governance and supporting processes.
B2E Consulting currently has 13 Consultants who are directly working with the IMO to deliver 7 specific programmes (2 divestment, 5 integrations), all of which are of strategic importance to our client. Our team consists of the following: 2 Programme Managers, 5 Project Managers, 2 Business Analysts, 2 Enterprise Architects, a Business Architect and a Data Architect
In addition to the delivery of the M&A portfolio, our B2E team are constantly improving how we operate with the wider IMO and deal teams to ensure maximum value is driven from the portfolio.
M&A Separation Programme – Leading UK Insurer
Our client, one of the UK’s leading Insurers, consisted of two main “Lines of Business”: General and Life insurance divisions. A competitor acquired a 49% stake in the General Insurance Group and later completed the 100% acquisition. A programme of work was launched to separate the businesses, impacting all dimensions of the business model: People, Process, Technology, Data and Facilities.
B2E Consulting was key in providing expertise and assurance in key areas of the planned separation including: Infrastructure Design & Migration Support, £30m of this on transition and transformation activities and assurance of the IT Outsourcing related programme.
M&A Post Acquisition Separation Programme – Leading Infrastructure Investment Corporation
Following the successful acquisition of one of the world’s busiest airports, our client, a leading infrastructure investment corporation with over $40 billion assets under management across the globe, required experts to support the separation of the airport from its parent company.
