Strengthening Compliance Through Smarter Learning
Jo Young | Founding Partner
As organisations face increasing regulatory, security and governance requirements, ensuring that people have completed the right training has become an important part of demonstrating compliance.
To support this, B2E has introduced a new online compliance training capability for both consultants and employees.
The platform allows training to be assigned, completed and recorded through a consistent process, providing clear evidence of completion and reducing much of the administration traditionally associated with compliance training.
One of the key drivers for developing the capability was the recognition that different clients have different requirements. While many compliance obligations are common across organisations, the specific combination of training required can vary depending on the client environment. The platform allows consultants to be assigned to different learning pathways, ensuring that the training they complete reflects the requirements of the engagements they are supporting.
Training is delivered through short online modules covering topics such as information security, data protection, acceptable use of technology and other areas relevant to working in client environments. Completion is recorded automatically, providing an auditable record of training activity.
The focus is not simply on policy awareness. Effective compliance depends on people understanding both what is expected of them and why those expectations exist. By combining practical guidance with clear explanations of the underlying principles, the aim is to help consultants apply good judgement in real-world situations rather than simply complete a training requirement.
The same capability is also used to manage mandatory training across B2E’s own organisation. Bringing employee and consultant learning into a single framework provides greater visibility of compliance requirements and helps ensure a consistent approach across the business.
For clients, the benefits are straightforward: greater confidence that consultants have completed the required training, clear evidence where completion records are needed, and a more consistent approach to managing compliance obligations across engagements.
This forms part of B2E’s ongoing investment in quality, governance and continuous improvement and will continue to evolve as client requirements and expectations
