Agile Coaching for Ways of Working Transformation

The engagement provided Agile coaching services for a FTSE 100 financial markets infrastructure group's Ways of Working Programme pilot, focusing on Agile maturity assessment, operating model design, and implementation of Agile frameworks.

Background

The Ways of Working Programme pilot at the client required support to assess Agile maturity across squads and define improved ways of working aligned to organisational objectives.

The Challenge

The engagement needed to assess current Agile maturity levels across squads, identify gaps, and define a target state for ways of working across multiple organisational levels. It required designing and building target state PDLC models, defining Agile organisation structures, and establishing frameworks across squads, clusters, portfolios, and business units.

Our Approach

B2E collaborated with the Ways of Working product owner and cross-functional teams to assess Agile maturity and identify improvement areas, designing and building target state PDLC models and defining Agile organisation structures, including roles, ceremonies, and product management approaches. The team developed metrics, cadence, and dashboards based on industry best practices to support delivery and performance tracking, establishing frameworks across squads, clusters, super clusters, portfolios, and business units to support consistent ways of working. B2E collaborated with the wider transformation programme to ensure alignment, effective communication, and reporting across workstreams.

Results

The engagement supported definition and implementation of Agile ways of working, including operating model structures, frameworks, and performance metrics. It enabled improved alignment across teams, structured delivery practices, and establishment of consistent Agile frameworks across organisational levels.
