How graph databases can organise information between data points and make sense of it for humans.

GRAPH DATABASES – THE KEY IS IN THE RELATIONSHIPS

Overview

There is a huge amount of information locked away in the links (relationships) between data points, such as people, their work and their institutions. Graph databases organise this information, and can make sense of this to humans.

For example, social media sites, banks and governments use graphs to understand their customers, hunt down fraud and deliver insight and services.

Integrity is a directed knowledge graph of scholarly and scientific publishing information that uses reputable sources of open access metadata.

While knowledge graphs are expressive on their own, allowing you to make connections though visualisation that other data technologies do not reveal, they also provide a solid basis for ML and AI, which we will explore if time permits.

In this webinar Roger Gordon – the Founder and CTO of iThinking, a consultancy focused on graph databases and startup technology – will:

  • Hands on demonstration of Graphic Databases
  • Load data and visualise it
  • Run ML and AI algorithms to bring out hidden data patterns for exploration and hypothesis generation
